My family members, especially my Aunt Diana, didn’t respect my grind, but I was a fair businessman. I was smart, and I didn’t play games when it came to my money. If you were going to last in the drug game, you were going to need some kind of front. I invested in legit businesses to keep my daughter’s future secure. She was the main reason why I went so hard and ruthless in the streets for her to never go without, like I did. If my heart was pumping blood, and I was breathing, I was always looking for ways to put food on my table to take care of my baby girl. I was only twenty-two and worth eight hundred million dollars. However, I carried myself in a humble manner and wasn’t boastful about my riches.

I sat at my desk as my loyal product buyer, Ramon, strolled in my office with his bodyguards trailing behind him, holding machine guns. He called me the night before and asked to meet up to talk about a business opportunity, so I agreed. I motioned for Ramon to take a seat, and he nodded his head before sitting down. I picked up the crystal bottle filled with whiskey off my desk and poured us both a shot. I took a few sips of the smooth liquor before getting to the meeting at hand.

“My brother in-law’s, Walter and Delroy, are looking for a new connect because their guy in Jamaica’s product is some trash, so I told them that you were the man to see. They are willing to buy two million dollars’ worth of product the same time you’re bringing mine. If your product sells, they are willing to buy five million dollars’ worth, and they would like to continue to do business with you from Jamaica,” he revealed and crossed his arms over his chest, waiting for me to respond.

I cockily chuckled before taking another sip of my drink, “There’s no doubt in my mind that my product will sell. But what’s in it for you?”

The smile that emerged across his face showed me he wanted something out of the deal, “Even though you’re giving me a sweet deal on my product, I want my bricks cheaper than what you’re charging me now. Instead of paying two million, how about we cut my price in half, since you’re adding more clientele to your roster.”

I rubbed my chin and thought about his offer. The deal seemed legit, but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to take a chance on someone running to the cops. I didn’t know these dudes he was talking about, and before I could even set something up with a new client, I had to meet with them first.

“When can we meet?” I got straight to the point.

“That can be arranged right now if you have time. They are downstairs waiting for me in my limo. I didn’t want to bring them up without your permission. Do you mind if I smoke?” He asked.
